About Us

More than just a place to buy books, The Bookshop, in West Plains, MO was created to bring people together, create community, discover stories that stick with you, and find connection with those around you. 

The shop carries a thoughtful selection of curated new and like new books in a welcoming space to unwind and stay a while. We host a variety of book clubs, bookish events, and open our doors to let our community utilize our Good Company room for their own small intimate events too!

This world is often busy and disconnected. I hope that The Bookshop becomes a place you can't wait to come back to and hate to leave.
